Radio headsets

2016 Road Glide. I have the headsets that plug into the ports on the bike. I looked in the manual and it shows a push to talk button for my right thumb. I don’t have that button. The guy I bought it from said the two way communication worked great. How do I use it without the PTT button?

No need to use ptt button with a passenger. The ptt is for the cb if equipped. The vox settings can mess you up if it's set to the max setting.

Vox settings? If I don’t have a button, is it voice activated?

Vox is in the radio settings under intercom
low means little noise filter high takes a lot of noise to break vox or speaking to a passenger

Also every prompt has a volume setting. Radio, gps, prompts, phone. Etc.

VOX stands for "voice-operated exchange" or "voice-activated transmission" in radio communication. It is a feature that allows the radio to automatically start transmitting when it detects sound or voice, eliminating the need to press a button to communicate.
