Khromewerks sweeper 2+2. Mine are the narrow sweepers. I had 13" regular apes before and I couldn't use my backrest. Now I can use it just fine.

Ive used yaffe, west coast choppers, and wild1s, of the 3, the wild1s are the easiest to wire up and you couldnt give me another pair of yaffes. The yaffes were uncomfortable and were a real mfer to wire. The wild1s, the wires almost fell in.

These are what you are looking for if you want a stock appearance. They are up 2 and back 2 and still give you fairing protection, although the top parts of your hand do get some wind.

There is a whole thread on this forum dedicated to these bars with hundreds of positive comments.

I've had Khrome Werks 2+2 narrow sweepers on two different Ultra-Limited's and they work for me. They maintain the look of the stock bars while bringing the grips up 2" and back 2" with a slightly flatter wrist angle compared to stock. The width is virtually the same as the stock bars. (Wider bars are too uncomfortable for me)

One downside of the Khromewerks 2+2's is that they're only available in 1" diameter so they're not as rigid as 1-1/4" bars. It'd be nice if they offered an 1-1/4" version, but I've had no issues after almost 20k miles.

The only other con is that the holes at each grip end for the control wires are too small for the wires to pass through without de-pinning the connectors if you want to run the wires inside the bars. (The heated grip wires pass through just fine without removing their connectors) On my first bike I took the time to de-pin the connectors and run them through the bars but on my current bike I didn't bother and just ran them down the outside like the factory did. Some folks have even taken the time to make the holes slightly bigger.

Khrome Werks also makes a +2 Narrow Sweeper that only comes up 2" if you don't need them to come back that far.

I tried a couple of other bars (H-D Tall Boys & LA Choppers Twin Peaks) but, with my relatively short arms, they put the grips too far away from me, which immediately caused neck and back pain. Khrome Werks 2+2 bars bend ~toward~ the rider vs away from the rider like most taller bars.

I’ve ordered three different bars so far. Two will go back. The stock bar with grips is 34” wide tip to tip. Didn’t want to go much if any wider. I’ll lay them in the clamp and see how they feel. The first three to try are:
Yaffe 10” monkey
2+2 Khrome Werks
Chubby WO579

the chubby can only be found in black. I’m thinking they don’t make it anymore. If a one has the black ones, are they just black powder coated over chrome?

the runners up were the six bend and the kst. The only reason I didn’t try them first was the measured width. Both of these measure 36+. If the first three don’t work out I might still go there, but really didn’t want that “beach bar” width.
