Default Subtle Wobble on Slow Speed Right Turns

On my '06 Ultra, I've noticed a very subtle wobble emerge when coming out of a slow speed right turn (as in leaving from a dead stop at a traffic signal). When my wife is on the back, she cannot feel it, so that hopefully gives you some idea just how subtle this wobble is. The only change I've made to the bike is the Metz tire on the rear (the front is still theOEM Dunlop). Total mileage on the bike is about 13K. This is a VERY subtle wobble; so much so that I'm wondering if maybe it was always there but I just didn't notice it until now. The thing that makes me think not, however, is that I notice no such wobble coming out of a left turn.

Thanks George. I'll give that a try, but wouldn't run-outgive me a wobble turning both ways?

Check for cupping on your front tire....very possible with 13K on it (we don;t check pressures ofetn enough!)

Not necessarily - the Metz's (and other brands) have seen issues with delamination...

Could it be a problem due to the mix of tires. It is not recommended to mix brands.

It could be, but since it's only happenin' in one direction, ah discounted that. Ah agree - it is NOT recommended ta mix tires - but lots of folks will happily declare they "do it all the time". To which ah point out that you do NOT see it done on high-performance/race vehicles - an' they'd do it in a heartbeat if it'd help.

I would have immediately figured that it was due to mixing tire brands, but then you'd think the wobble would be in both directions? The rear Metz has about 5K miles on it. I looked for cupping on the front tire, but can't see (or feel) any. Tomorrow, I'm going to take it to my local Indy to see what he thinks. Just to reiterate, this occurs only at very low speeds -- like 15 MPH and below. Once I'm up and running (so-to-speak), everything feels completely normal.

Don't think it's 'cuz of the mix - ah'm thinkin' either delamination, or mebbe a bead that didn't seat properly.

Well, I just took the bike down off the lift. I inspected both tires thoroughly and found nothing peculiar. The front Dunny looked nearly perfect even though it has over 13K miles on it. The only thing that looked even the slightest bit imperfect is the tread wear on the rear Metz. I noticed that the center tread pattern is slightly raised as compared to the side tread pattern (if that makes any sense?). Itsa very consistant wear pattern, however, and exactly the same on both sides.

I was wondering; could this strange wobble beasymptom of the wheels not being in perfect alignment?
