No. Had you removed the outer fairing before this photo was taken?

Does it happen with other windshields?
do you have to SNUG it on the outer screws to get them in or do they line up ok?
Never seen one like that........

You mentioned an amp getting wet in a thread before this one. Is the amp keeping the fairing from fitting properly? Or wiring or something else you might have done when you had the fairing removed?

We’re not there, so you need to give all the details of everything you did before this issue started.

something is definitely not right, the front of the fairing is not allowed to close up. That chrome vent doesn't look like it's sitting right either.

yes I had a lot of water from a storm last weekend on my amp and other electronics. I was literally thinking it might the new t harness because the fairing does not go back on easily. It is not the amp, the amp is a soundstream nano. I will pull the fairing off tomorrow and retry.

thanks everyone

For me it looks like something doesn't allow to fit the fairing fully. Bet it is amplifier.

How are the corners lining up? If you dry fit it , it should fit easily and flush. If something was pushing it out like an amp it should be evident in how the fairing lines up. Also check the brass inserts on the inner fairing side they can sometimes slide out or strip due to over tightening. Also ensure proper alignment of windshield mounting holes before tightening.
