Ya I know subject has been discussed a million times, problem is I didn’t read them. So help me out. 6 “ or 10” dark smoke for a street glide. Who’s yer running?
I'm running a 3" because the 6.5" that came with my bike was too tall for me. 4.5" would be better but the 3" is so much better than the 6.5" that was barely too tall that I haven't changed it. I know I'm not alone in saying that I cannot look through a windshield, even the 14" windshield on my Dyna is low enough that I can see 2 inches over it.
As for windshields, check out the Klockwerks 6.5 Flare.
It took a few tries to find the "perfect one" I still like the OE low profile for the best looks, and the 8" Wind Splitter when I go on long multi day rides in colder/rainy weather.
It's going to depend on your torso height. I'm 5' 9" with a longer torso. I have used the 7" Harley dark smoke windshield on all my batwings and my current street glide. My nose is at the top of the windshield and vision is great. The wind goes over my head and only the bigger bugs can get thru.
You'll have to measure. I change windshields depending on what seat I'm using because one sits me up a little higher. I doubt you need a 10" unless you're about 6'6".
