Don't forget your going to need the footboard mounts too....your SG ones won't work..another $80 or so. Buy them from Zanottis and save some money.....my wife prefer's the larger footboard..more room to move her feet on. Oh yeah, congrats on the engagement...........your screwed now
You just got engaged and she is already your wife???? Come on don't make her happy so quick. Break her in slowly otherwise she'll want more too quick....lol.. Congrats, Ride safe, da boat-o ya's...
I replaced the passenger pegs with on my 07 RK Custom with these. When I bought mine, I had to buy each piece separate and the total was close to what is price listed on your link. My brackets were chromed though.
I bought these footboards because of two reasons: A) They matched the front footboards and (mainly) B) The wife didnât like the pegs on long rides. According to her, these were the best accessories I have added so far.
If you do decide on these, make sure this kit has the detent ball and spring that goes between the chromed Swept Wing footboard and the support bracket. I had to make another trip to the dealer.
Designed for convenient bolt-on installation, the complete kit includes aluminum footboards, rubber pads, mounting hardware and installation instruction.
Do I still need the mounts?
Thanks guys, I'm 41 and never been married. Of course she loves to ride.
you can use the pegs you remove from the rear position and put them on as matching highway pegs. that will save you some $$. I had the floorboards put on before I took delivery of the bike. Definatly worth the money if you ask my passenger
