I wouldn't buy anything but a chrome trimmed bike, but that's just me.

As others have clearly stated buy what speaks to you. Pick the color and trim you want. The next own does not play apart in this.

I prefer old school gushes opposed to the electronic dash, give me gauges and needles to read. The 23 has dealer cash that’s probably not advertised on price. At this point it’s a loser deal, it cost them money to have it on the floor. Good luck

I wanted a RK classic in chrome, but had to settle for a blacked out Special since I was buying new in 2023.

Today I prefer the black, and imagine that resale value is gonna be a coin flip either way.

The only downside is scratching, ie: handlebars & upper fork tubes. Chrome is more durable.

I agree with your statement 100% and as long as people are willing to pay extra for something the moco will make a higher profit on, they’ll keep doing it. Yes, I’m a chromosexual. 😂

Once you go scorched chrome you will never go black.

Liked many have said, buy whichever one that appeals to you. You're the one who will want to look at it with pride. For me? Chrome and only chrome.

Seriously....my personal opinion is that a HD's exposed mechanical parts are beautiful so why not show them off. That's just my purely subjective opinion. I feel the same about those muscle cars and show cars who's owners want to "show off the machine". The difference is with cars you need to lift up the hoods to appreciate, but with our motorcycles the beauty is on full display all the time. To me it's like jewelry...bight and brilliant is beautiful.

Chrome is the new black!......lol
