Nope - not broke. I have other “goodies” to transport that won't fit inside my trucks’ camper shell. On the other hand, and if need be, it would be nice to have if it was broke or if I moved which, is a good possibility.
Yes it will fit I brought mine back from NJ last winter in a Uhal enclosed 5x8. The front wheel against the front you will have about 5 inches to spare
The length of aStreet Glide is 94.5 in and 8 foot is 96 in so "YES IT WILL FIT" it might be tight but the question was, will it fit. Mine was tight but it fit in a 5 X 8 trailer.
I looked at 5X8 for my RKC. Did the measuring and the fit was questuionable. Can't see how a Glide would work in 8'.
Bought a 5X8 "V" nose that adds about 20" inside. Bike fits good and it is a nice size to pull. Rear ramp and side vents are a must.
I strongly recommend the Condor front chock.
Bought moco new bike shipping tie down straps at the local dealer ($5/pair) and they work very well. You can get long or short, long is better, they can be cut to the size you need. In fact got about 6 more pair for the work truck they work well and come in handy.
