Just to bring things to an end:
Customer took back the bike without solution. He did not want to spend more money.
He told me he may do the quick and dirty way by pinning out the led for engine check light.
I told him that may come unhandy in the future but he did not care so I am good with this.
That's why it's always a crap shoot buying a used Harley....
There are too many Harley owners who couldn't/won't be bothered to fix an issue. They'd rather just sell the bike and make it someone else's problem..

I would not even consider buying this bike.
Carfax records says that it had an accident and that mileage is not right.
I would not say one should not buy a used Harley but I tell all my customers that before bying a re-imported 1HD they should do a complete check-up.
I think that this customer is pissed because he told me that he did not know that bike had an accident before.
Maybe this is why he took it back without solution and maybe he is trying to give it back to the seller.
I dont know. This is not one of my regular customers so I may not know the end of the story.
