Default TPMS Issue 2023 Street Glide

Good Afternoon. First post on the site. I am looking into purchasing a used 2023 Street Glide. The seller hit a pot hole and bent the original front wheel. He replace the wheel with an Enforcer Contrast wheel and in the procees lost the TPMS in the front tire. When the bike is started the alert comes up from the TPMS. The seller said I can take it to a dealer and they will turn it off for $60. It's hard to believe a dealer will do anything for that price. Does anyone know how much it will cost to repair the TPMS? Should I be concerned about anything else after hitting a pothole that bent the font wheel?

the dealer probably would charge about $60 to disable the tpms, all they have to do is hook it up to their digital tech and disable tpms. nothing difficult about it. however, rather than go backwards, you could simply have them install a new tpms sensor.

if you didn't want to pay the extra labor charge, you could have it done at your next tire change. you would just have to keep dismissing the tpms alert until then.

As TPMS is a safety feature, a dealer may not turn it off.

New TPMS is $118.00 for OEM. Have the owner discount the price $200.00 for a new TPMS plus install and programing on the bike.
