Default Exhaust not level

Hey all! Harley newbee here
I have a 2006 Electra Glide Classic
Shouldn't my exhaust be parallel to the bag mount? My exhaust is not parallel to the ground.
I have Reinhart true dual exhaust.
BTW the both exhausts are doing the same thing

I'm not an "expert" but shouldn't the mounting bracket be MUCH closer to the rear of the muffler. I don't see how a bracket located where yours is could be expected to hold the rear end of the muffler correctly. Bumps in the road alone would cause the rear to slip down.

Again I'm no expert BUT perhaps that muffler isn't the correct one for your cycle. Did you buy your cycle from someone else who installed it or did you? I'm sure others will chime in. But my guess is you have the wrong muffler for your machine.

Your rear rubber isolater and hanger are upside down. See item number 29.

The chrome bracket is upside down, as the diagram above shows, because the rubber mount is upside down. The concave side of the bracket should be on the top, not the bottom. That will lower the back of your muffler maybe 1/2"-3/4"?

Even correcting that bracket by flipping it, it still looks like there is too much "unsupported" weight at the far end of the muffler. The posted diagrams clearly show a bracket towards the end of the muffler NOT forward towards where the clamp is.
Is it possible that muffler is not correct for that frame?

Have you held an ElectraGlide muffler in your hand? The weight is biased to the end of the muffler. That mount will be fine as long as the rest of the exhaust is supported as designed from the factory.

That's exactly what I was thinking. It'll probably work okay if you can convince yourself to stop staring at it.
