Do a search for Hawg Wired, their speakers and amps are expensive but the sound is fantastic. I think this is a case of you get what you pay for. I am currently having them installed on a new 08 SG.

[font=arial][size=2]If you want to make the most dramatic change possible to the music quality and audio power from your fairing-mounted speakers, then replace the stock units with a set of our high-performance models.
They have been designed specifically for the 2006 and later Harley® Electra Glide/Ultra/Street Glide fairing and feature a waterproof injection molded polycarbonate cone woofer , high-flux strength Neodymium magnet, high efficiency voice coil and a replacement grill set with mounted chrome tweeters.

when't thru this a while ago, searching on this forum is worth the time. generally there is a huge love-in for hogtunes so they must have a decent product. u will find some that went from hogtunes to j&m's and noticed an impovement, not so the other way. hawgwired with amp seems to impress the most. i ended up with j&m's and a sony mex1-gp deck and am very happy.
The JBL's are in the Bat Wing, a day late.
They sound is great, not as loud as I would like, but as luck would have it, my brother is down for a visit.
Frank can't wrench to safe a life, but he knows music and computors like nobody.
We did the install, total time of 45 minutes plus a short high speed test ride.
BTW we check all the fairing brackets that everybody being talking about. No problems here, brackets are **** made, but OK( with 8000+ km).
Tried with and without insulation. With insulation it seemed to lower the mid range a little.
Installed them with no insulation, and I am very pleased with the sound. So much better than stock.
The only improvements I could recommend would be an AMP and Bigger speakers.
Good luck with your installs.
