2000 Ultra Classic - Sputtering/ Hesitation

2000 Ultra Classic - Sputtering/ Hesitation
Have a 2000 that has a bad hesitation and bucks, and kicks! Replaced fuel pump, hoses, filter. Have power commander 1. Motor bumped up to 98 ci. Also, at startup rpms jump to 3k! Happens about 3x then will go to 1k after 2nd, 3rd time starting. Had this converted to trike so I can keep riding! Ready to burn this mother####@$ up!

It could be anything from an adjustment on the MM EFI system is needed, to the possibility that the Power Commander 1 has failed, or it could be several other possible issues in between.
I believe an understanding of the MM EFI system will be key to this issue's diagnosis.
If you don't understand the MM EFI system, or do your own work, I would seek out an independent shop that understands the MM EFI system on Harleys and have them give it a look.

PS- If you should decide to "burn this mother####@$ up!", you should look into one of the newer HD trikes to replace it. They have the newer Delphi EFI system, and I understand they are very nice as trikes go..
