i agree...sounds like the switch is not aligned properly.
And if thats the only problem then after it gets realigned I should be good. But if the radio is in fact keeping the switch from fully turning so the last tumbler can't latch....does that make any sense at all? If that's the case I can't use this radio at all.
Trying to talk to the manager at Harley digitally but they only like to communicate via phone call for some reason. I have such bad reception where I live that calls are a nightmare. Just a temporary situation as we're in the process of moving but many businesses that offer digital communication don't seem to want to actually use it for whatever reason. Fill out the contact form on their site, ask for communication via text or email, and I usually just never hear anything. Or if I do, it's by my phone ringing (if it has enough signal to even ring) and I just look at the caller ID and roll my eyes.

get the switch aligned first then address the radio. It may be that the switch not being aligned is taking up a tad more space for the switch to clear the screen.
I've watched all their videos about it several times. I don't know if you just can't tell from the photo, but in the fork lock position it makes full contact and appears to stop before hitting 100%. A piece of paper is trapped between the radio and ignition switch and rips getting pulled out. This is NOT how they advertise their installs.
Loosen up the 4 bolts (2 on each side) that bolts the inner fairing to the triple tree.
Get someone to help you by pushing forward on the top of the inner fairing. This will push back the entire fairing assembly. Keep the pressure on the fairing while you tighten up the bolts. This should give you a little more room between the radio and the ignition switch.
I had already pushed the fairing back. I am supposed to be getting it dropped off this morning from the dealership. They had not pushed the radio as far back as it can go. The service manager confirmed it now has a 1/8 inch gap with the switch turned all the way, and that all ignition switch functions now work properly.
He said he's sure it was due to limited travel. So now the switch does not make contact with the radio and it's not misaligned. I'll be confirming after they drop it off.
Very nice radio and great to have navigation and music control there on a big screen that won't go to sleep. And the indicator lights are bigger and brighter than stock and my neutral light was out so now I have a neutral light again.

Enjoy the new radio. I came close to getting one, but went with a single DIN with Blue Tooth.
