Freedom Shields 13" for 2024+ Street Glide. I shot this video shortly after I installed it and you shouldn't bother looking anywhere else regarding the optical clarity of a windshield. Yes, there is some waviness, but it's not mottled like the others and the whole top-third, where you will most likely have to look through while cresting hills, is perfectly smooth and distortion free. It also turned out to be the best I've tried with regards to reducing turbulence.
I've tried Klockworks and looked through most of the other OEM shields, including the new Ultra's and not one of these even comes close to the clarity of Freedom Shield product. Hate to say it, but the HD ones are so bad I'm amazed anyone buys them, or makes excuses for them after purchase ("oh they're all that way...", "it's normal...", etc.).
The WIDE Touring Freedom shield is the way to go!.....It's definitely the best choice. But If you aren't sure, then order one and don't remove the protective paper when you test ride it.....Freedom Shields has a very reasonable "return/exchange" policy IF YOU DON"T REMOVE the paper protection during your test ride..........but I'm pretty sure you'll like them.
Ask them if they still offer a slight discount for Forum members......
I'll give another shout out for the Freedom Shield touring. Just put a 9" on my SGS and it's much better than the klockworks style I had before. (The KW had interference with the 12" bars as well) Very enjoyable riding at 70 mph and can hear the stereo so much better now.
