I would like to have a shorter reach to the bars. I am concidering the HD "Reach " bars and the Wild 1 W0575's. Does anyone hve a recomendation or comparisons between the two? Are there any othere barsout there? If you have either can you post some pictures? Thanks in advance! Scott

You might want to take a look at Khromewerks bars.
I have the +2 wide sweeper bars # 300505 and they work well for me.
The Harley Reach bars turn your hands in at more of an angle than stock to give the pullback.
The Wild 1 bars set your hands at a better angle and back closer , they're expensive , but gorgeous looking.
The Wild 1's have to be internally wired .
The Khromewerks bars are 2" taller , 2" pullback , and improve the hand position at your wrist.
Because of the hand position , they're about 3" wider than stock though.
I'm pretty sure any will effect your view from the fairing mounted mirrors (as in worse).
I have the #300505 on my bike and love them , for about $65.00 , you almost can't go wrong.
Dawg did an article a while back with great pictures , that was what turned me onto the Khromewerks bars.

Check it out.

575's are great, plenty of pictures on their website, Install was not too difficult, if you do go with internally wired bars, you must get the new 1 piece clamp from hd.

I have the reach bars on my sg... The bike is a lot more comfortable to ride long distance... no more back pain...
they will take up a bit of the sg's mirrors for your knuckles..
I plan on adding the Kuryakyn windshield trim/mirrors/t signals. and leave the faring mirrors there..
The other bars are probably better quality and wiring is rub inside the bars, but I opted for the $49.00ones.
