Has anyone tried the fat dresser bars made by Cyclesmith or Buff on their Street Glide? I'm interested in how far they pull back and whether they block the fairing mirrors. I like the look of the Wild 1 bars for the dresser but people are saying they do block the mirrors somewhat. Cyclesmith and Buff have a lower rise but I am not sure how much they improve the reach over the stock bars. Anyone tried them?

I have wild ones on my SG.I was concerned with the view also.Didn't block much more than the stock bars.

How much extra pullback did the Wild 1s give you?

Wild 1 - 575 here too.

I think the added pullback is about two inches. Of course, you can adjust it a little by rotating the bars toward the front or back during the install (watch the tank with the wheel cranked all the way over).

Youcan still see fine out of the faring mounted mirrors with Wild 1 bars. There may be 15% more of the mirror blocked vs. the stock bars but it is the area of the mirror that isn't really effective anyway. IMO the mirror blockage factoris minimal.

I think I have a pic of the stock bars and the Wild 1 bars.

Coolnite , those pics are worth a thousand words , and should be posted on the wild 1 website.
I've been trying to picture the difference between the the stockers and the 575's by looking at the bikes with them installed.
Your pics show the "actual" difference between them and stock , and that's what I was looking for.
Looks like the wrist angle is improved and the width looks like it would be better for wide shouldered people like me.
Thanks a bunch.
Mick
