Any stock late model Fuel Injected HD will react favorably to some type of fuel management system.

The EPA has forced HD to being bikes into compliance, which in itself is not a bad thing, however, bike contribute less then 1% of the pollution in the USA.

Fuel Management should make the bike run cooler, smoother, and in realityget better fuel mileage.

Unless you change both mufflers and a/c at the same time, you can more than likely get by without a fuel management system.

Read all you can, lean about the system you are considering purchasing, and take into account your ultimate goals for the bike. If you havea stock 88 and are only adding pipes and a/c, you more than likely don't need to spend $800 -900 on an adaptable fuel management system. Howeer, if you are going to increase the displacement, add cams, do head work, larger injectors, and etc, there may be merit in starting out with an adpatable system for the long run.

Good Luck

Default RE: True dual install

Well yesterday a buddy of mine wanted to try the bike out. He just rode it down the rode and back. While it does have a different sound while on the bike,it sounded good while i was standing there with him on it. So Im not as worried about it now. I installed a Fuelpak on it yesterday also. While it is difficult to see much "seat of the pants" improvement, it did reduce the backfiring on deceleration. Im sure there will be a more noticable gain once I really get the bike out today. All in all though im happy with the mods I made lately.

Installed the V&H Dresser duals a couple of weeks ago and it did change the sound. I have 2.25' Rush and while it did make it louder, it lost the Rush sound.

Peace,
