Perhaps the problem is with Lumpy Air molecules? J/K.... maybe the tire is worn down in on spot too much! Plus, I did not start the humor on this thread just adding
to it! Is the rim bent?
Last year, 7 ofus when on a road trip about 400 miles in to the trip, oneof the riders started to have the same problem you describe, the wobble and bumping and the faster he went the worse it got. Turned out to be the front tire, the belt shifted within the tire. He had it replace and we went on to finish the trip of 600 more miles. He didn't have anymore problems.[/align]
could be a defective tire only 2000 miles on them. you can feel the bump all the way thru the frame. Also the bump is not in relative relationship to tire rotation. Sometimes it feels as if something is loose and flapping in the wind. But, I can't find anything loose.
My doctor took care of my bump and wobble in my rear!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi all,
I have a problem and it's cutting into my riding time. I have a bump and wobble in my rear. I have already had the service dept. rebalance my front and rear wheels. and I still have the problem. I can't find anything loose. When I'm going down the road @ 40mph or above it is real noticeable even more so when riding 2-up. last night when I was test riding to see if the bike was fixed it felt like I was doing a weave down the road.

I had this problem on a bike and the tires both balanced and we checked steerign heads and all sorts of stuff. They were Avon tires and Avon started pointing at things like the fairing and foot-pegs!! ya right.
