Default "Spots" on Whitewalls

My '01 RK Classic is "new" to me -- with just over 200 miles riding (...has total of 21,000) I am finding what appears to be a fewtinyoil spots on the whitewalls. ...seems to be more on the right side than left, and appears to be very small drops that "hit and run" and leave small streaks. I have changed out all three fluids and didn't notice any leaks and there are never any leaks on the floor after or before riding. Although it's probably not a big deal, it's beginning to bug me -- I'm wondering if anyone has an idea of where I might look for what may be a leak? Many thanks!!

Thanks. Yep, it's both front and rear, though more on rear. And, it does make sense that it could be brake dust, since it's more on the right than left side on the rear (I think I'm remembering correctly that the disc is on the right?;-). It's good that it doesn't appear to be a leak, but having to clean the walls every few miles isn't one of the many "joys" I had counted on. On the other hand, if that's the toughest problem I have with a used bike, I'm pretty doggoned happy.

'preciate the info. very much!
