Default Out for a little ride.

I went for a little ride through town. Stopped off at my Indy motorcycle shop to sat hi. Then I went exploring.
I ran across a rider on a 2024 or a 2025 Road Glide, not sure what year. But he and I gave it gas, but he just couldn't keep up (he did try). I smoked his @ss.
If I ever get a new bike I will definitely get a Dyno tune.
Anyway, I also went to get some groceries. Who knew I could get $200+ of groceries in an Ultra Classic. Inflation hurts my pocket. 😱

It is sad how much money's worth of groceries can fit on a bike these days. Quick tip - If you ever do buy more than will fit, and you don't want to look dorky with bags tied to crash bars and such, take some of the non-perishable stuff back to a cashier or the service desk. They're always happy to hold stuff. I usually let the wife know and she'll swing by wherever it is if I can't.

Full disclosure, it's usually Home Depot or Harbor Freight holding stuff for me, I tend to make bad vehicle choices when I shop.

When I first got my '14 I raced a buddy on a souped up 88". He beat me pretty good from a roll. Whether it was my bike or the fact that it was my second time riding it, I made sure that didn't happen again with a simple stage 1 and tuner.

LOL, Getting groceries is something I've been doing a long time on the bike. Looking dorky is my super power. 🤪

When I first moved to SoCal in 1978, my only vehicle was a Harley FXS LowRider for 5 years.

I had the grocery shopping down. It helped because I had a set of big leather saddlebags, and a gear bag for the passenger seat against the sissy bar.

However, going to/from the laundrymat, I really looked like a dork with the large laundry bag on my tank from the bars to my lap..

Same here. I tend to make a run or two a week to the store and as long as the weather is decent it's a two-wheel trip for sure.

Imagine if you will, seeing an Ultra Classic with a Mega size toilet paper roll, I'm talking really large packs that I get at BJ's on the back seat, and a mega pack of paper towels on the tank. A guy in a truck yelled out, nice back rest. LOL, it was comfortable.
