Best Location (Specific to 20172023 Touring Mufflers)
- Bottom of the muffler outer shell
- About 12 inches forward of the rear end cap
- At the absolute lowest point when the bike is upright
- Drill straight down at the 6 oclock position

Man that's a lot of rust. Haven't seen that on my bikes.
Makes me think of that stock decatted headpipe with the baffle to send more exhaust to the clutch side that American Custom Exhaust sells. Anyone tried one of those? They seem a little pricey but all the work is done for you.
