The suspension is much better on these new models, and CVO's is little different as well. It rides much better than my legends did. This is not only my opinion but others that rode my bike and had Legends on theirs. I did have Legends setup correctly. It's not a rocket science.
Youre right, its not rocket science, its the same chassis from 2014. If it rides better than your bike with whats claimed to be premium aftermarket suspension, the premium aftermarket suspension was not set up properly. Adding a bunch of electronics, going to paint that even ill admit is a huge improvement over the last 10 years, and making the bikes ugly, did not change what its all bolted to and there is nothing on this planet thats going to change that fact. Theyre essentially running a 2009 chassis with bolt on upgrades.

LOL.. ok man, I guess my old bike was not setup correctly. .
My 012 had full Race Tech front suspension with nitrogen gas JRI shocks from Howard. ( RIP ). It rode great.. I took it to a local shop who actually road races. They set up the suspension, sag and rebound settings. That had something to do with how it performed. Quality suspension plays a major role in ride and handling.
