I found a matching Harley CVO tour pack on ebay for my 2020 CVO road glide because my wife was wanting something a little more comfortable than the sissy bar. Well it turns out its not much more comfortable than the sissy bar. Has anybody put a taller pad or wrap around backrest on a chopped tour pack? Where gonna ride to sturgis this year and its 1300+ miles. Was thinking about buying it just for the trip. Was curious if it would scratch the paint or anything on it since its bigger? I wouldnt really worry about it but i got lucky and found the 2020 CVO tour pack that matches my bike in sand dune with the harley CVO emblem on it. I havent seen another one in for sale ever like it. Does the wraparound look bad on a chopped tour pack anybody have any pics?
Lots of pictures if you goggle.
When it comes to my wife's comfort
I really don't worry about what it looks like.
Why should she suffer?
Another thing to consider is the wrap around will require
Two more holes in your tour pak.
Yep I did it. I kept my 14 CVO Roadking seat and bought a chopped tourpack. Wife has metal in her back and the chopped backrest vibrated and caused her pain. I bought a CVO matching wrap around and when installing I mis measured and have a couple extra holes but it looks good and works great. I even bought a rear light bar and installed and only messed up one hole on that. LOL
