Random Stalling
I have a question for everyone .... over the last few months my 07 SG has been randomly stalling when pulling in the clutch for a stop. It is not reproducible and has been to the dealer twice so far. There are no codes being pulled from the computer which is making things more difficult. This past weekend it was doing it alot and once the tach started jumping all over the place when it stalled. Any suggestions, its driving me nuts?

Mine has done the same thing as recent as this weekend. I was in the shop for a week before and they ended up "flashing" the ECM. After that when I would crank the bike to R's would jump to 2k or 2k5 for a second and then drop down to 1k or 1k2. I know that it is normal for the R's to jump up, but not that high...
Any suggestions?

Did the reflash help 51? I did notice that the problem is more common when it is really hot out and I am in slow traffic >35 mph. I guess I will see what the dealer says this time and probaly make a call to the MoCo
I have a 07 flhr and it stalled5 or 6times yesterday in 3 miles at stops and pulling in the clutch to down shift, got back home it sat for 1 hour got back on and it ran fine. I've had it fast idle and slow idle before but this was the first time it stalled on me [

My RKC 07 has been doing same. Started about 6,000 miles on the OD.
Bring it in for a tune up. Yea what Tune UP? Everything is ran through micro processor. The only thing you change is plugs.
Right now I'm looking for a set of plugs 1 to 2 steps colder if there made?

Well the dealer was able to actually reproduce the issue and they have a fix. It appears as though one of the ignition wires was loose and that was causing the issue. Im hopefully going to pick it up today and really give it a run this weekend and see how it goes.

You know, that sounds kinda like the problem the early '06s had with the fuel injectors. My '06 SG stalled at stoplights several times and went to the shop several times until Harley fessed up and fixed the problem by changing the injectors from the 8 degree to the 25 degree ones. Of course the '07s are 96 vs 88 cubes, so I don't know if that applies.
