Hey guys...glad to hear the speakers are to your satisfaction as much as they are to my ears. I have taken lots of good information from this site and enjoy posts like the "how to install" c/w pictorials. That was a little bit of me giving back to the forum and i'm glad to hear that the speakers and the install post has helped quite a few people. I've had several pm's from folks that said the install was simple, and that they loved the "how to" post complete with the pictures.
The insulation used in my fairing is a sound proofing material that's just laid in around the speaker as I was careful to to totally encompass the speaker so some air could move in there. Much of this information is in the original post so read it if you're about to install some speaker upgrades. As for the JBL's, i've sprayed them in the pressure wash a couple times already and not a worry in the world. They are a poly speaker with a rubber seal so there's no problem. These were rated as multi environment speakers and they fit the bill. Later
