Here's what I did on my '03 Fatboy: 95ci upgrade, SE HTCC heads, matching pistons, S&S gear drive cams, adjustable pushrods, oil cooler, and all support stuff. Mikuni carb. SE HiPo ignition. V&H ProPipe two into one. 99ft lbs torque, 102 rear wheel hp. Plenty of low/mid torque. lost maybe 2mpg. Loads of power when you need it. The only thing I would do differently now that I have it is instead of the HD manual compression releases, I would use the electric S&S versions. This was a fairly expensive upgrade compared to a normal "95cu in upgrade". A $1500 upgrade just to say you have a 95ci will get you nothing more than wasted money. If you don't spend the money on the cams, heads, ignition, exhaust, etc, you are just wasting your money for maybe a 10-15hp increase over stock. If you want some serious horse power, closer to a 40 hp gain, yet keep a good running, easy to live with engine, you will have to spend more like $4K.Paco....

Here are a couple of sites to check out. I have been thinking of an upgrade, when money permits. Look at the 98" kit. I understand this is the largest you can go, on a stock 88", without having to split the cases. http://www.gmrperformance.com/Twin_C...e_Packages.htmand http://www.head-quarters.com/.
This site will give you a lot of information to look through, as well. http://www.nightrider.com/Hope this helps.

I just did the HD stage II 95 w/ 203 cams and love it.... I did it at 29,000 miles and now have over 55K.... I had the SERT installed at the same time.... SE 6spd also ..... I have always been able to get great gas mileage even before the mods... Before 52-57 MPG and after 55-58.11 no heat problems and I ride pretty hard both backroads and interstates ..........very dependable.... I ride my bike and tour on it....... several 2500 mile trips, a couple of 6000-6500 mile trips....... never had ANY problems !!!y dealer also warranteed everything since it was all HD parts and they did the work.... warranteed till 2010 when the extended wears out.

I just completed a HQ 95" 10.5:1 with the 575 cams.... Let me tell you the 2 toughest things was waiting for the build and keeping the front end down.......
Like suggested look at sites talk to others... There is a lot of information on this site you can do a search for. What ever you do DO NOT mix and match thinking your getting better. These companies create proven packages with componenets that work well together.

I think that's good advice if you're unwilling to do your homework; that said, with a little lamp oil you can assemble mixed and matched components that aren't part of some sale's guy's "package", are totally compatible together, and save some serious money in the process.Thelist of partsdoneed to be approved by a pro, there are many who are more than happy to ensure a successful build, if you'll only show some interest and effort. Without that oversight, John's right, it's a nightmare waiting to happen.
