Got tired of cleaning rubber marks off of my exhaust (right side). Purchased a heel guard "turn down" for the right side of my 07 UC from Eastern Performance. It is amazing how many times, my heel touches the guard.
Highly recommend one.. No more rubber marks on the exhaust!
i used some 3/8" ss tubing and 2 3/8" ss fuel line clamps. bent up the tubing to fit the floorboard and polished it all up shiny. can't see buying stuff that's fun to build...

Looks GREAT! I am not capable of designing and or bending tubing, therefore fork out the monies.

kurtlange, that looks great. i'm sure you saved a bundle over what hd or kuryakyn wants for the same thing....
Very good idea. I think I have something else to do this winter. LOL I have a rk custom, with the streamliner boards. I have seen a couple heel guards, but nothing I am in love with. Maybe I can figure out a way to make me some. Thanks for the suggestion.
