use the template that comes with the mount, drill 3 holes and screw it down and then run your electic (i did mine into the lighter wires) and your golden... 15 min job

The RAM mounting system works great for anything, GPS, cameras, radar, tollway transponders, bottle holders. I'll have 3 RAM mounts on my bars this weekend
