Hey, weird thing just happened. I went to Harley's site and in the bikes when you can click on the paint jobs, they have some new squares added. They don't have colors in them yet, but if you move your mouse over them quickly the name of the color appears. One was purple haze, then copper something (not the anniversary color)... Looks like they are updating the site. Maybe it will be working correctly later and we can see the new colors. Or it is a fluke and everyone will call me full of it
My dealer showed me the new, late model year colors when I bought my '08 FLHTCU in August. They didn't turn my crank, so to speak, but they didn't seem too off the wall.
I just can't remember what they are. I sent an email to my salesguy asking him what they will be.
HD it probably just getting the website ready for when they can show the new colors.
One of the custom colors for the ultra is purple haze and iscoming out in october. There are 2 more and I think they are 2 tones but I wasn't interested in them. So the site is probably correct.
Not sure if it's gimmick, but the MOCO has been doing this for a while and these new colors were planned some time ago, to be released in October and around the first of the year. Last year I think Burgandy and Creme' were one of the choices, along with Dark Green/Light Green Envy and Jake Blue/Elwood Blue Sunglo. I've only seen the Burgandy/Creme and Dark/Light Green.
