Default rinhart 2into1

i just received my exhaust and it appears that the front o2 sensor receiver on the headers is not tapped all the way.....has anyone else had this problem? and can i tap it myself or should i send them back?please need help since all support is off for the weekend

Go to a local Autzone or something and purchase a spark plug chaser. this will allow you to chase it.... why wait for something like that.... I would just look closely to make sure tho..... If it is a weld bead you wont be able to thread that. you would have to use a dremel to clear away the material then tap..

another question, can i install the exhaust and the power commander without a intake, and do the setup that way or should i get a intake first?

when you say intake im assuming you mean a high flow air cleaner. you can install them as it is only a PC but I wouldn't waste the time on a dyno until you do. you might have to readjust it afterwardsbut you should be fine.

Are you sure the O2 bung isn't tapped all the way on purpose? Could they be using this as a stop so the sensor doesn't protrude to far into the exhaust gas?

I don't know, so I'm just asking. I can't remember what mine looked like.

the only stop that should be there is when the metal gasket seats... you do not want a gap...

do i use the 02 sensor plugs or do i put the sensors in the rinharts or does it change with the installation of the power commander?

That one Im not sure of.... I would assume you wouldn't use them as the PC doesnt? someone with more experience on that issue needs to answer..... Sorry I use to run a PC but now its a DTT.... I didnt have 02 for my 06 EG
