Headsets
Well, I finally purchased two sets of HD headsets for use on my Ultra. They work just like they are suppose to......however....
I am 6 feet tall and find the lower cord could be just a few more inches longer. The Push To Talk (PTT) works fine....but I would rather it be voice activated. My wife and I wish we purchased them a long time ago now though.
Just a review/thoughts on the HD headset.

They are voice activated. You have to increase or decrease the sensitivity of the VOX. Can't remember right now. It is in the manual. If you set it right it is voice activated and works well. Also hang your cords on the wall with a small amount of weight on it when not in use. This steaches them for a while. They soon go back to original size in a day or two. Wife hangs hers until she is ready to use it.
Stretch the cord and then hit it with a hot blow hair dryer for awhile, that will fix that. Flip the center left switch on your tank all the way forward then move your right hand thumb button up or down to adjust the VOX. Up or the higher the number the more sensitive the microphone will be. When you get it set where you want it, push in on the right thumb button to get back to am/fm, cb or whatever.
Personally, ah got shut of the OEM headsets an' went with the J&M. Why in the WORLD HD would produce headsets that can so easily have the cord pull outta the helmet side an' come slammin' down onto the tank is beyond me.
