I've run serveral over the years, including FatCat(s), ThunderHeader, ProPipe(s), WhiteBros E-Series.
Of the ones I've had, I would rank them as follows:
FatCat
E-Series
ThunderHeader
ProPipe
There are a couple others that I have not personally tried that are good options as well. If I were to add them... "For me", I'd rank them like this:
FatCat
SuperTrapp SuperMeg
Bassani RoadRage
E-Series
ThunderHeader
ProPipe
If you wanna look at them from a catagory perspective (Performance / Quality / Sound)
Performance: FatCat / SuperTrapp / E-Series / RoadRage
Quality: FatCat
Sound: ThunderHeader, RoadRage, ProPipe, FatCat
Does anyone have back to back Dyno data to verify/backup the claims that so and so pipe is the best?
Thank You
I do for FatCat & T-Header, but they are at home. I'll try to remember to throw some up tonight. I'm sure there are plenty in the Dyno thread ~ in fact, all of mine are in there.
I have run the D&D's on my RK...not pleased with the qualityor fitment....bluing on pipes and have constant trouble with the clamp that holds the muffler onto the headers.....I'm looking to reduce the heat on the passenger right side and have found the D&D's rear cylinder header is still too close to right side passenger footrest....If I go 2-1 again will most likely go with the Thunderheader, gotta love that sound! But for my EGC I think I'll stay with a true dual. I'ts never going to be a race horse and I've found that no matter who I ride with and how far we ride and how their power is set up....we get there at the same time!
