I have a 07 Street Glide and am looking into getting 2into1 exhaust...I'm leaning more towards the VH BP 2into1 but definitely open to any suggestions...any opinions out there? Any info would be much appreciated, thanks!!!
I want the 2into1 for performance reasons and I've heard the Vance and Hines sound really good. What other 2into1 exhausts are out there that compare to or are better than the VH BP in your opinion.
From reading on thisforum, the fatcat seems to be the 2-1 of choice. Try using the search function. Good info to read about. Some guys here have swapped out the exhaust probally more than their underwear (you know who you are, LOL [8D]) And these guys have run dyno runs with different set ups. And for performance, most agree that a fatcat 2-1 with the quiet (not performance) baffle gives the best numbers. At some point, I am sure I will end up with these, unless they come out with a better set up. Exhaust can be very expensive, so finding one that will do everything you want, might get expensive. Plus, exhaust note is a very personal choice. What sounds great to you, might not for Joe Blow down the street. Hope you can find what you are after.
If you are going for performance...................Fatcat 2-1 is the way to go. It is very well known that that Fatcat gives the best numbers out there, and the quality is top notch also.
I've had 9 exhausts on this bike, 3 of them have been 2-1 systems............and the Fatcat is the best one yet. Throw in the quiet baffle to keep things "quietier", and you'll be good to go.
I like my Pro Pipe but be aware that checking the engine oil and tranny when the pipes are hot can be a challenge, not much room and easy to burn yourself on the rear header.
