Default I hid my Thunderheaders

I love the sound of my Thunderheaders but I wasn't to happy with their appearance. It didn't help that I installed them and used a generic map for my set up and they turned gold on my test ride. This is why I didn't update my signature picture. Well I searched and searched for a heat shield that would hide 1st my golden pipes and 2nd the welding on the Thundercones. Here is what I came up with.

Oh,This is NOT the Thunderheader heat shields. The Thunderheader heat shields are only 14 inches and not large enough. Believe it or not, but these are HD Screamin Eagle Heat shileds. Part number 65829-00. I heard a parts guy telling another customer that these heat shields were large and cover large pipes. He then let me hold one up to my bike. I got on Ebay and found them brand new for $94.00.

What is it you're covering? You say "pipes" but it seems lots of folks here use that term to refer to mufflers instead of the pipes leading to them.
