Default Harley Headset
Anyone know if the headset can be removed or is it permanently attatched to the helmet??? as far as the microphone?
Signing the paperwork tomm afternoon on my new Ultra and they thru in the extra headset!

microphone is permantely attached to the earphone assy. you have to install the HD set into your helmet.

Most you can remove (atleast I have installed and changed mine a few times on other bikes)... & if ya want a GREAT HEADSET see John @ J&M - They're worth the $$$ and performance will be way above what ya get from HD

I will see what they are like I build my own stuff for my Ham Radios so maybe I will go that route!
