I would like to get a 6" windshield but, I would like the exact tint as the stock windshield has. Actually, it could be darker but, I do not want black that you cannot see through. Anyone do this?
Get the dark smoked from Harley. Its about 6.5 and has the correct curve to it.
Order it from zanottis HD online. for 20 to 25% off of the 109 list price.
HD# 57185-05 for the Ultra or Street glide style.
There are many windshield suppliers. You should be able to get a 6-8 inch windshield for$50-$60 shipped. You didn't state what kind of bike but I assume it's an electra glide or street glide. I have used products from Cee Bailey's and FastAire and have been very happy.
Frank,
So does mine. Both of them are identical in tint.
My4" factory Street Glideshield is exactly the sametint asmy 6.5" from HD
The picture in the catalog doesn't show this well (or online) so I went to a dealership and checked before I ordered my 6.5
They do look almost blackfrom a distance but are see thru.If you want the same tint as factory Street Glide then the 57185-05 is thesametint.
