Well, I adjusted the drive belt on my 94 RK tonight with the help of a friend who has done it before. We didn't use the gauge as he didn't have one , he uses the 45 degree method. We spent a few extra minutes truing the wheel and it tracks perfect. Pretty easy job really. Man does it feel good, no more chirp and no lug between gears and it takes off smoother... Very cool to have done that. BDR
It's something that I read about farther back in the posts, you reach in about midway of the pullys from left to right and twist the belt with your hand, if you can twist it to a 90 degree then it is too loose but at a 45 it is supposed to be good. It felt very tight at the 45 but still had some movement up and down.
