When I installed the cruise on my SG I could not get the headlight bulb unplugged. The service manual says to grasp the plug and squeeze and pull. I have read others here that talk about working it back and forth. What part do you squeeze....the top or the bottom of the plug? It shouldn't be that hard to get out. It isn't blown but my son does get tire of standing there holding the front end when I have to take it off for whatever reason.
Some of the plugs have little"ears" (located on the sides of the plug) on them that you have to press while pulling. Before you put it back together (assuming you get it apart), put some silicone grease on the lamp pins.
