has anyone experienced this while riding on the newer bikes. This is my first non-carbed bike and I am at a loss if its the injector system, security system or ?. Anyway it's heading back to the dealer this Sat for its 1000 mile service and they'll look into it.
friends bike crapped out going thru Atlanta on a road trip, I pulled over behind him and immeadiatly noted that his run switch was in the off position, I think he may of hit it when trying to indicate or activate cruise control in busy traffic. Of course he blames the bike and spent an hour pondering the cause at the next stop.
To me if the bike just cut out without spluttering or bits dropping off it has to be an electrical problem, check connections and continuity etc.
Our group ran 2000 miles after that without any issues, but who am I to say it was not a tech problem but operator error.
