Another speaker switch question
I have found a couple of threads on this but I am confused.... (doesn't take much). On my 06 ultra my question is this. Can I have--should Ihave--sound from both the head set AND 4 bike speakers at the same time in any of the 3 positions on the dash pod? Meaning if my passenger has a helmet on with factory headset and I do not have a helmet on, it would be nice if both of us could enjoy the stereo.
Thanks in advance for any information.

Nighttrain: You have a rocker switch with three positions on it, One is helmet sound only, One is helmet and outside speakers simutanously, and one that is outside speakers only. If you are in the middle position, it will come thru both helmet and outside speakers at the same time. NOW, having said that, your passenger must reach over to the right side control and turn the volume up so that she can hear it. It is really a simple task, but a lot of my friends (with Ultras) make something hard out of the controls. Bldr
That is what I thought. However upon trying both front and rear intercom connections I can not get both the 4 bike speakers and the helmet speakers to work at the same time.
when the switch is in the middle position you will get CB/intercom thru helmet and music thru speakers that is the way mine works. When the light is on in the back position CB/Intercom?music is thru the speakers. Switch in the forward position CB/Intercom/Musis is thru the haedsets.
