Default Heavy breather A/C

I've had a SE Heavy Breather ordered for my 08 FLHX now for a month. Now I'm told it will be another month, I don't get whats taking so long but I'm looking at canceling the order and trying something else. I like that look and really like the Wimmer stuff. Has anyone used there stuff and will it be a problem tuning with it. Also there ads talk mostly about carb bikes, any problems with efi bikes. What else is out there? Thanks

I have the Wimmer Dual Runner and love it! Pricey but nice and functions great. No problems with rain, just slip the rain sock over it and drive on.

Looks good, you say pricey what is the ballpark figure. I look at there web site and haven't figured it all out. Any tuning problems? I'm not sure if they have parts ready for 08's yet. Thanks

I got the most expensive one and had it powdercoated which they didnt charge for. It was 700+ dollars like I said pricey! I wouldent trade it for anything. I cant stand parts that everyone else has and love unique parts and custom stuff so this was a no brainer. It functions great but you will need to reflash or dyno it. I put on a Tmax and a new pipe and it works great.

I am in the same boat. Have an 08 RG and had the "heavy breather" on order for about six weeks, still on order. The problem is our 08s have a larger throtle body. The other stuff wont fit right. The aftermarket hasn't cought up with the 08s yet.
I am tired of waiting too, if you find something let me know,

Doug

Hey Only the best I hope you don't mind. since you are in FL and I'm in Mass I might copy a couple of your ideas. I have a black 08 wait for after market stuff to come out. Love the look of your bike. Black and low the way to go! Wast that your bike in American Bagger. I think it looks even better since you change out the front fender.
