Default Wheelie

I saw a guy wheelie a Road King and a Gold Wing. [sm=badidea.gif] This is my 1st bike and I thought you could only wheelie a sports bike! How in the heck did he do that?

I’m not gonna try it, I’m just curious. [sm=badbadbad.gif]

I've seen that before on web sites. Ain't no way I'm trying that on my baby!

I could get a scratch. And my wife WOULD KILL ME DEAD![sm=chairshot.gif]

one of my friends pulls up his electra glide no problemo with a 95 kit, and my road glide trike with a 95 does them no problemo it always makes heads turn when we pull out of a parking lot with both of us on the back wheels

I couldn't do one with my bike stock, but with it now being a 97" 104TQ & 97HP it will lift the front wheel in first gear if you wack the throttle and lean back on the seat just right it will hook up pretty easy. But if your rear tire is alittle wore it will just spin.

I've pulled my stock 05 Ultra up just a bit hitting second gear hard. Never ridden on the rear and wouldn't really know how to handle it.

Saw a web site where a guy pulled it up to where the pipes alomst were dragging. The clip looked like he rode the clutch a little as he took off, rev'd her up, then dumped the clutch to get her way up.

I just prefer to keep my wheels on the ground where they belong. No offense to any of ya who enjoy doing this sort of thing but I have a hard time feeling bad for someone when the wreck their bike or hurt themselves because they were doing something stupid like a wheelie. Just my opinion of course!

heather that is fine but i have wrecked twice and it definately was not from a wheelie.....it was a moron who turned right on red in a no turn on red since he didnt see me, and of course had no insurance..............and another idiot who made a left at an intersection since he didnt see my invisible road glide with the clear tins and fairings and the ghost rider on it, so he totaled a blazer..................90% of mc accidents arent our fault it is safere to do 120 plus mph on the track than ride on the roads!!!!!!!!!!

just my.02 cents

*****, I agree...most accidents are not the bikers fault. I truely get sickened when I hear of somone getting hurt or worse dying because of the idiotic actions of somone in a cage. My comment applies to riders doing stupid things on their bikes to futher put themselves in harms way...such as wheelies, lane splitting, or generally acting like idiots on their bikes. I see it alot, primarily on sport bikes. For instance....a guy here in Indy pulls wheelies on his sport bike doing 80mph on the highway while standing ont he passenger pegs. Now when he kills himself I'm not going to feel bad for him at all!
