oil pump alignment question

oil pump alignment question
I've been perusing the 07 touring manual (for cams it would be the same for the 08) and I noticed that the manual speaks nothing of aligning the oil pump. Has anyone changed out their own cams and not aligned the pump? Or did you still align it anyway? I assume because it is a new larger pump that they no longer require you to align it?

I changed out my cams on my '07 Ultra and did not have to aline oil pump. The dealer did some warranty work on a leak between motor and transmission, and after they re-installed the motor they had to re-aline oil pump.
