My wife burned one last night using Nero. She got 172 songs on a 700MB CD-R. I think there was room for a couple more. Tried it on the bike and it works great.
I've got 264 songs on a single mp3 CD. I create the mp3 files at 96 kbps which probably affects fidelity quality a little but allows more music per disk. I can't tell the difference in the car or the bike. I use an old Creative downloader converter and then move the files to the CD using Nero. I agree withcreating the disk at slower write settings. I've never had a disk fail to work but I have gotten some skips when recording a lot of songs at 48x.

Same here. I get 160-175 songs on a 700MB disk.
I even tried burning to a DVD....you can get over 1500 songs on those, but the HK player in the scoot doesn't recognize it. They play fine in all of the DVD players in the house, though, and they give a chart of the song lineup. I pop one in, and shuffle. You can listen for months, and never hear the same songs twice....
OK Help please.........ive got itunes with over 5100 songs and am a little bent because it wont let me convert the cd intomp3 format. Ive tried the right click/convert to mp3 way, but still to no avail. is this a privacy issue and how can i get around it. please reply as i cocked and ready to blow a few rounds thru this thing!!Thanks
