I pull a custom built trailer behind my 95 Ultraclassic. It is a 1/3 scale corvette fiberglass body on an all aluminum trailer with a torsion suspension. I had a different aluminum frame under the same body but it had a leaf suspension and you could feel every bump that the trailer hit. With the new torsion suspension I keep checking back there to make sure that it is still there. I carry a tent, sleeping bags, small cooler, fishing poles and what ever else I want in it. This way when my son and I travel we have plenty of room for our stuff and anything that we pick up along the way. I know that not everyone agrees with pulling a trailer but both my son and I agree that it is better than being in a car. I ride my MC everyday to work and back and even pull my trailer when I have to carry a large amount of stuff and it sure beats taking the truck.
I have a leesurelite excel model, I may be willing to sell, check it out on the leesurelite.com website. It is 10 years old, needs a little tlc, but it seys up in 2 minutes, weighs 215 lbs. Retail for a new one is $4500 canadian I will let this one go for $1500 canadian or will swap for cargo trailer bradhinz@telus.net
I have an all aluminum cargo I might trade you. Post a picture of yours & I'll do the same.
Just a ?? for you guys that have pulled trailers for a while. I am going to set my ultra up to pull a trailer, am looking a building my own trailer. Is it better to have the swivel in the tongue like some of the trailer I have looked at on the web. Just wondering if it makes that big a differance.

I use a 1 7/8 ball hitch that has plenty of swivel on the ball, no extra needed. The trailer is behind the sportster, sorry but its the only pic I have at work. Yes the trailer is homemade.
I pulled a Piggybacker type trailer with my Venture. The only time I ever felt it was when I was pulling into a gas station or restaurant. It would give a little push as I cleared the apron.
You must be a Bushtec salesman ~! They are sweet trailers. My brother pulls one and I have watched it for many miles across the US. And it does sticks to the road and does not bounce around. BUT DAMN!!! They are proud of there product, they are to damn pricey
