Parakiller,
Good news! Too bad you had to beat them over the head to fess up to the free install. When are you getting it installed? I'm doing mine on Saturday and looking forward to experiencing all the good results others have been posting. That plus a switch to Redline synthetics will be my first steps to getting it running as good as my 2002 Road King.
My dealer told me that the $100 deal has a catch. You have to buy the IDS from the same dealer that installs it. I bought mine online so I have to pay for the install.
You wont believe this I just called the dealer and asked about the IDS install they told me they have never heard of installing it on a 07 Ultra and that it wasent compatable wont fit . So says the head wrench turner. I cant believe they are that badand out of touch. What a feaken joke. The dealer is Thunderbird HD Albuquerque NM if any local guys read this please call them and ask about the IDS install and maybe they will get a clue.
Shame on you people openely talking about the secret IDS. Don't you know you will stir up a hornets nest on how bad the 08s are with the 07s sure to follow just cause you have the choice. Look around, there is already a few 08-07 bashing threads going on. Before long you will have nasty words slung at you. This is a dangerous subject that was better off in the super secret thread but too late now. Thanks[&o]
I got the IDS and I got a Thundermax. The IDS came first. Noticably smoother. Talk about smooth put a Thunder max on an 07 and you'll think you died and went to hevan. This thing is awsome. At $695.00 it ain't cheap but I can't imagine getting more bang for the buck than this sucker.
If the secret gets out, there will probably not be enough IDS's to go around. Looked on mine for a "Made in China" sticker, didn't find one. Wonder where they are made?
