Having a IDS installed on my EGC tomorrow hope it is all what they say it is.

 

If the dealer is doing it you should be gettingfree labor. Mine just arrived on Friday anddon't have time to install it until next week-end. Figure it's going to do something . . . let us know your results.

What is this IDS you all keep talking about? Should it be installed on my Ultra for any reason? What is the cost on this item? Thanks.

 

only if your 2006 Ultra is a 2007 model

 

Went to my dealer this past weekend and asked about the "free" labor. He looked at me like I was insane and stated " I have a direct link to the MOCO and I haven't seen anything".......

Can anyone reference/provide a link or some type of Memo/Bulletin number for this? My 5th gear chatter is driving me nuts.

All I know is my service dept guy pulled some sheet from under the counter and said, "yea, there is free labor up to $100 on this list of parts", which the IDS was about the last one on the list. He also called it the "elbow grease rebate". I was at a different dealer on Saturday and looking at some wheels and the salesman came up to me and said he could get me $100 off the labor for install if I wanted a set. I said do you mean the Elbow grease rebate and he said yes. So in that case, even the parts salesman roaming the showroom floor knew about it.

 

its is the best damn money i have ever spent on this bike so far. it is so quiet. the wife and i went for a ride yesterday and she even noticed the differance

 

Had it done last week. Huge improvement. You'll be pleased.
