I just put the 6.5 w/recurve on my SG and love it.
Bluzmn59 - How do you ride with that windshield at night?
I look right over the top. It really does not affect me at all. It is only 9.5" tall. I am about 6'1" so the top of a stock windshield is right at my eye level - this one is like 3 inches below.
SWEET windshield, Ihave to have one. Clearview is the name, correct? I have the same bike number 5331 of 7000. I have installed the same trim on my headlights and passing lamps. I have a gap between the left side of the headlamp lens and the trim. How did you get yours to fit flush?
You have to kind of force the trim ring over it and it will snap into place flush against the fairing. Here is the link for the windshield - the one on my bike is 9.5" with recurve in dark grey: http://clearviewshields.com/shop/
My top left curve was a little flat and the side curves for mirrior did not have same profile. New one was perfect. Took so long because after 3 months in august they called and said they had a bad batch and was waiting for new material. I order 1 inch shorter for 06 roadglide. The curve helps 5 foot 10 and use sundowner seat . eye sight is 1.5 inches lower than eye level. I fiugred with summer backlog some finish issues could happen. They did standby there warrenty.
Ordered mine for a Road Glide on May 29th. FINALLY received it about two weeks ago. Junk! It was either cut wrong or molded wrong. They sent me a new one without any problems. New one arrived and after peeling off the protective wrapper I wouldn't say its exactly very clear. Distortion where the re-curve starts. Not major but noticeable. Once you peel the protective plastic wrapper off you have to pay a re-stocking fee if you send it back. OK product, but after waiting four months and two windshields and its still not up to snuff, believe it or not I'll stick with the moco windshield.

This is the reason I buy from a local vendor. I want to see what I'm getting at time of purchase.
Installed a 17.5 inch tinted with recurve on my 2007 RKC, what an amazing difference,
this is $$ well spent, took 4 weeks to get and is perfect.
I'm 5'11" and a 1/2, with a 31inch in-seam, and highly recommend this product.
1. Does not interfere with your line of sight like a 19inch shield.
2. Is much thicker and clearer to see thru, about twice as thick.
3. At 70mph has no wobble at all, the stocker drove me crazy watching it vibrate
going down the road.
4. Tinting is light and easy to see thru.
5. The recurve does a great job putting the wind over you, I had no bugs at all on my
faceshield, that was pretty amazing.
I put a 9 1/2" dark grey with recurve on my Ultra and it is perfect. I see over the windshield, but the recurve really does work. The fit and quality are perfect.
I have the 9.5" sitting in my garage - exactly like this but was concerned about it being to short - so I ordered the 14" with the recurve - when I get it - next week- I will see which is better - but boy I like the look!
With the clearview being wider does it work with the road glide chrome accessory trim that mounts below the windshield on the fairing. I cut my OEM down 2" I prefer to see over the windshield, but you do get more wind in your face. Are you able to use a clearview that is 2" lower then OEM and still keep most of the wind off?
i called john and ordered a 9' recurve for my 08 ultra got it 8 days later,it looks cool and restricts a lot more air than the stock 13' did,and for 84.00 delivered i think it is great,my son got a 6' for his 08 sg and he loves it as well.this is a stand up co for sure
