Ditto Stragebird.. dropped $899 on a heated dual tour in june , 2 months later they drop the price $200 I'm wondering where they were able to save money .. makes me suspect of buying another , I'm sure it wasn't out of kindness to the customer.
10/22 ah went ahead an' ordered the saddle. Email from Sergio this afternoon w/the DHL trackin' number - it'll be here Friday. Ah'll post pics an' impressions once it's here an' installed in a new string.
I would like to buy a Corbin Solo for my 08, but I want a copper material like the 08 seat in the middle.
This page has alot of those color matrials in it: http://www.interiormall.com/cat/ndis...&book=1357
Wonder if I could talk them into working with me...
I had a very good experience dealing with Sergio a couple of weeks ago. I ordered (actually my dealer ordered) a heated seat for my 08RKC. I received excellent service. The seat arrived in three business days.It looks and feels great. This is my second Corbin seat and I would recommend them based on my experience. Because the dealer was involved in the transaction Dave in CA ended up following through with the order.Dave handles wholesale accounts and Sergio handles retail accounts.Excellent cooperation from Dave as well. TexasRedneck, glad to hear they got you squared away.
Atta boy, Texas Red,without customer service you got nothing. Sergio, that's how you step up to the plate, the news is spreading already on here. The bad part is youknow what service is but you have some bad apples that need to go work for someone else, and that's the good news.
At Sturgis I rode to there trailor and was cheerfully greeted by there helpers. They quickly replced 5 of my studs that I had ripped out and conditioned my seat with their leather stuff. I was so happy that I bought a bottle and use it frequently. Point is they showed me, my buddies and the others around us that they appreciate our business. We didn't all have Corbins but we all had seats! Over at Mustangs...it was a different story. Just my observations......
I attempted to get som CS from corbin while looking for a seat for my wife for her Road King, she is only 5'2" with a short inseam, couldn't get any help at all, ended up going with the HD reach seat, unfortuantly the way the seat is designed it scuffs the hell out of the fender. I'm looking at the C&C seats now. In the end Corbin had lost my bussiness, didn't even get an oppurtunity to try their product out. I ended up buying a mustang for myself for the long halls.
I just today got my 08 dual touring saddle in for my Ultra. The quality looks great at first glance. I won't be able to mount it up for a week or two as the bike is at the builder's getting the gmr 107 kit.
